Student in custody after Peel police respond to Brampton high school for weapons call


Peel police have taken a student into custody after they received reports of person armed with a weapon at St. Marguerite d’Youville Secondary School in Brampton on Thursday morning. Police received the call at 8:58 a.m. and the school went into lockdown. Police said no threats were made and the student was quickly apprehended by officers without incident.
