KUALA LUMPUR: A student was allegedly molested at the Masjid Jamek LRT station on Thursday (Dec 14). The incident occurred at about 7.50pm when the 20-year-old woman was at the escalator at the station. She told police that she suddenly felt someone "touching" her private part and immediately after saw a man running away. Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Shaharuddin Abdullah said police have also obtained CCTV footage of the incident and were hunting down the suspect. The incident went viral on Twitter when a user (Dhabitah Zainal) posted that her friend was sexually assaulted when she was going to Masjid Jamek from Pasar Seni.
