Perak SEDC lose two main strikers ahead of Super League debut

KUALA LUMPUR: After their unexpected promotion to the Super League, Perak SEDC coach Abu Bakar Fadzim faces a tough task replacing two key players. Perak SEDC have roped in Cambodia international striker Keo Sokpheng and South Korean forward Yeon Gi-sung to add to their strikeforce. Abu Bakar said the challenge of maintaining their place in the top-flight, following back-to-back promotions, is going to be enormous. "Some teams take a long time to reach the Super League, but we have done it in two years. In a blow for Perak SEDC, they will have to play their home games at the Batu Kawan Stadium as the Perak Stadium in Ipoh is closed until the Malaysia Games next September.
