Lions on Saturday night to book homefield in the West Division Final, the Stamps fell short, dropping a 26-21 decision to their guests at McMahon Stadium. The Stamps were starting a drive on the Lions’ 17-yard line, and they made no mistake. The Stamps again started a drive deep in Lions territory, and Mitchell got the job done immediately again, this time hitting Ambles for a 14-yard score. The Stamps have now lost to the Lions, the Roughriders and the Edmonton Eskimos this season. Other teams in the West Division look like they’re starting to peak, while the Stamps need to find a way to integrate new pieces like Matthews into the lineup and develop some chemistry on offence.
