FILIPINO Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) star Mark “Mugen” Striegl will be on the sidelines for two months as he undergoes surgery today at 8:00 a.m. for an injury he suffered in his debut fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). “Yea, unfortunately, in the fight, one of Said’s punches fractured the orbital bone. So, yeah, [it’s] just bad luck for me,” Striegl told The Manila Times yesterday. In his UFC debut last week, Striegl suffered a knockout loss at the hands of the Russian Nurmagomedov. Striegl, who has an 18-3 win-loss record, is looking to make his return to the UFC octagon in April of next year.
