The 14-month-old baby was 'savaged' in a gruesome attack, and although she was rushed to hospital, she was sadly later pronounced dead. CCTV caught the horrifying scene as Riya Sahu was attacked outside her home in the Anupam Nagar area of Raipur in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh. Local media said Riya had been left at home with only her brother, five, to take care of her. Some locals were reportedly furious that the local government had not done more to address the problem of stray dogs in the area.
