Photo ReutersThe Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan kicked off Desert Trip - the classic-rock festival dubbed "Oldchella" - on the grassy fields of the Empire Polo Club in Indio. It was one of a number of quips he made in a set that found the Stones opening their headlining set with "Start Me Up," on Friday night (local time). Twenty percent of the attendees each year at Coachella and Stagecoach, the country music festival also produced by Goldenovoice at the same Indio site, hailed from San Diego County. The Stones' touring line-up features San Diego saxophonist Karl Denson.
