A police pursuit early Wednesday ended when a stolen pickup truck went into the Red River. The front end of the stolen pickup truck is thick with mud after being pulled out of the river. A pickup truck could be seen partly submerged in the Red River, off of Tache Avenue, for several hours on Wednesday morning. In the end, it took one heavy duty tow truck and two regular ones to haul it up the bank. Emergency crews, including water rescue personnel, were called to the scene shortly after the truck went in.
