Stevenson Group is selling its construction materials division as it accelerates the sale of its assets. Franklin declined to comment on the potential sale price of about $300 million but said the divisions were profitable. Stevenson Construction Materials was expected to post revenue of $100m in the current financial year, generating $30m in profit before interest, tax, depreciation and abnormal items. The construction materials business included two quarries at Drury and Huntly and a concrete plant, employing more than 100 people, and associated transport.
