Steven Gerrard has broken his silence over the news that Jurgen Klopp will leave Liverpool. The Anfield gaffer revealed hat he will walk away from the top job at the end of the season in a shock announcement that caught many off guard. Reacting to the news, he explained: "First of all it was a surprise [Klopp stepping down] but as well I have huge respect for Jurgen. What will come next, I don’t know.”Former Liverpool skipper Gerrard has been one that many expected to eventually take over the top job at his beloved side. He remains a hero at the club and after ending Celtic's ten-in-a-row bid as Rangers boss, he moved to Aston Villa but that time in charge in the English Premier League didn't go to plan.
