They had responded to reports of cars being vandalised and an attempted burglary when they approached Mr Clark. An independent post-mortem exam revealed the dad-of-two was hit but eight bullets including six in his back, once in the side and once in the leg. It also showed Mr Clark was alive for up to ten minutes aftet the shooting. Their lawyer Benjamin Crump said the findings refuted police statements that Mr Clark had been moving toward officers in a menacing way when they fired.
