Stephen LeDrew: Canada should enforce the law with Wet'suwet'en anti-pipeline protests


As the lawless anti-pipeline protests ramp up on Wet’suwet’en territory, our stagnating economy suffers. Just six years ago, Canada was amongst a handful of countries with plans for numerous LNG plants —18 to be exact. Apparently, in Canada, it no longer matters whether a project bringing tens of billions of dollars to our almost stagnating economy is approved by all authorities or not. who are supported by the handful in Ontario are themselves only a few. We have governments, both federal and provincial, which will not take any action against lawbreakers if they are Indigenous.
