The heating up of Coke Oven Battery-5 (COB-5) of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant was successfully completed on Wednesday marking the launching of multi-project commissioning activities. Rath stressed the need to commission the battery as per schedule and congratulated all those involved in the task. LPG 2 PlantThe capacity of the reservoir is about 12.32 million cubic metres (0.5 TMC) and built at the cost of ₹465.85 crore. With this, reservoir water storage capacity has been increased to 65 days for the 7.3 million tonne liquid steel project. The plant was built by Optech, Mumbai, under the engineering and project management consultancy services of MECON.
