Biswa Bhusan Harichandan was sworn in as Governor of Andhra Pradesh at a brief function at the Raj Bhavan here on Wednesday. The oath of office to Mr. Harichandan was administered by Acting Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court Justice C. Praveen Kumar after Chief Secretary L.V. A few of them came to Raj Bhavan from the Assembly at Velagapudi by three special buses. Following the appointment of the full-time Governor, the government refurbished and converted the Irrigation Department into Raj Bhavan. Meanwhile, the police barricaded the roads leading to the Raj Bhavan for security reasons.
