Looking calm, cool and collected, Frederik Andersen stood his ground on Thursday night, backstopping the Maple Leafs to a 4-1 win over the Boston Bruins in Game 1 of their best-of-seven Stanley Cup playoff series. The Bruins outshot the Leafs, but Frederik Andersen was solid between the pipes in Toronto’s 4-1 win in Boston. The Bruins came at Andersen strong — and, of course, Patrice Bergeron opened the scoring. After Marner and Nylander gave the Leafs a 3-1 lead after two periods, the Bruins kept at it. “I think we were able to answer really good (after Boston scored),” said Andersen.
