Star Wars legend Harrison Ford was ‘almost killed’ by a novice Star Trek actor in a near miss road traffic accident. Star Trek Voyager star Garrett Wang has shared a story in which he almost mowed down Han Solo star Harrison, 77, while racing to an audition for his own iconic role as Ensign Harry Kim. The 51-year-old Star Trek actor shared an anecdote during his podcast series The Delta Flyers, in which he and co-star Robert Duncan McNeil, 55, recount their experiences of working on Star Trek Voyager – which aired between 1995 and 2001. The show starred Kate Mulgrew as Captain Kathryn Janeway and made history for being the first Star Trek series to be fronted by a female captain. In 2014, the star had another near death experience while on the set of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
