Opera lovers have a last chance to see prima donna Anna Netrebko in her Canadian debut. The Canadian Opera Company and Show One Productions say standing room tickets will be made available Tuesday to Trio Magnifico: The Ultimate Opera Gala, which stars Netrebko, her husband tenor Yusif Eyazov and baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky. The previously sold-out show takes place Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, but “a limited number” of $50 standing room tickets will be available at 11 a.m. at the COC box office at 145 Queen St. W.Netrebko has sung at the world’s most famous opera houses but has never performed in Canada before now.
