Invercargill was a sea of orange, and had many Stand up for SIT signs up around the city, when Education Minister Chris Hipkins visited to talk about the Government's proposed merger of polytechnics. About 60 Stand up for SIT signs in Invercargill, which do not comply with the city's district plan rules, will be taken down.
