A staff member at a downtown Winnipeg nursing home has tested positive for COVID-19, joining a growing list of cases inside long-term personal care facilities managed by Ontario-based Revera Inc. He wouldn't say what role the staffer who tested positive has. Last Friday, the company confirmed a patient tested positive for COVID-19 at the Poseidon Care Centre in River Heights. A resident also tested positive at a Revera personal care home in Winnipeg last week for COVID-19. A previous presumptive positive case of COVID-19 in Gimli at the Betel personal care home last week turned out to be a false positive.
