An attorney for St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner is accusing police, a special prosecutor and a judge of trying to "intimidate and humiliate" her through a search warrant of electronic records in her office. The appeals court later Tuesday issued a preliminary order halting execution of the search warrant. “They were unsuccessful.” Email and phone messages on Wednesday seeking comment from Mullen, Special Prosecutor Gerard Carmody and police were not immediately returned.
