Srinivasan Calcutta: Narayanswami Srinivasan's influence in the Board of Control for Cricket in India will, it seems, never end irrespective of whether the Supreme Court deems him eligible/ineligible to serve as an office-bearer at any level. After what transpired during the Board's SGM in New Delhi, on Wednesday, no other conclusion can be reached. The Board, after all, trashed the most far-reaching reforms suggested by the Justice Rajendra Mal Lodha committee and accepted by the Supreme Court in its order of July 18, 2016. That the Board's Affiliates were wary of the recording's transcript again reaching the Supreme Court had been reported in these columns. The Supreme Court is already in possession of the transcript of the June 26 SGM, in Mumbai.
