Square Edge Community Arts wants to forge a future that is more about the community and arts and less about managing a building. DAVID UNWIN/STUFF Outgoing Square Edge Community Arts Chairwoman Gunhild Litwin says fresh leadership will help the group face funding challenges. Cozzi said Community Arts would be more dependant than ever on the income it received from tenants, so looking after the facility was vital. More than 500 people attend classes and activities in the building each week, "so that takes a lot of work to co-ordinate". Cozzi said the board wanted to make sure it strengthened its connections with the wider community as it set its future strategies.
