Cheong and Leong were awarded the Exemplary Youth Icon Award, while Lat took home the Inspiring Cultural Icon Award. Sambanthan (National Unity Icon Award), who was one of the founding fathers of Malaysia, and former Gerakan president Tun Dr Lim Keng Yaik (National Development Icon Award). Former Ecuador president Jorge Jamil Mahuad Witt received the Lifetime Leadership Icon Award.
