In the streets of Auckland, the contrast between walkers and workers is stark, writes Melanie Sharma-Brown. Covid-19 has made clear that New Zealand, too, is propped up by brown, yellow and a forgotten class of white people. I also wondered what white kids think of this. In the next pandemic, I certainly hope essential workers will be more balanced in colour. Please let's not forget what these essential workers have done for us.
