Sports is least likely to influence what university students decide to go to, a report has found. It was followed by University of Nairobi, United States International University-Africa, Mount Kenya University, Strathmore University, Moi University making the top five. The report, which ranks local universities based on their sporting activities, indicates that nearly half of high school students did not consider sports a factor in their university choices. Some of the reasons Kenyatta University emerged top were the level of investment in sporting facilities, annual budgetary allocation to sports, and the number of sporting activities offered.
