Kenya's hopes for an Olympic medal in Rio continue to be dimmed after Shujaa lost 31-7 to Japan on Wednesday. He awarded Japan a penalty try when Kenya collapsed a maul. The loss comes a day after the rugby team were crushed 31-7 by Great Britain and 28-5 by New Zealand. Kazushi Hano opened the scoring for Japan with a well taken try, which was converted by Kazuhiro Goya for a 7-0 lead . The Asian champion dominated possession and territory with Kenya struggling to make inroads in the Japanese half.
