Pernia on Monday said the exemption would counter the negative effects of a reenacted budget on economic growth. Diokno said that economic managers were now in the process of listing down the projects that need to be exempted from the election spending ban. So far, 44 out of the 75 flagship projects under the “Build Build Build” program have already began implementation.
