"Well, I like Herman Cain, and Herman will make that determination. He actually ran a very good campaign and that's up to Herman," the President told reporters outside the White House. In hallway interviews with nearly 20 Republican senators on Tuesday, most were reluctant to candidly discuss Cain's potential nomination. "I don't think Herman Cain will be on the board of the Federal Reserve," the freshman senator told reporters Tuesday. "When you first meet Herman Cain, he's very impressive," the Kansas Republican said.
