Following the discontinuation of its food bar, Soylent has debuted its latest product: Soylent Bridge . Soylent Bridge contains 180 calories, which is roughly half the amount that is found in Soylent's staple drink products. The maker of meal-replacement products claims that Soylent Bridge fits its evolving mission to "fill 'food voids,' those times when you either skip a meal or make unhealthy, unsustainable or expensive food choices." Leading up to this product announcement, loyal Soylent fans have awaited the company's debut of a lower-calorie product to potentially replace the now discontinued Soylent Bar, which contained 250 calories and was marketed as "an excellent snack or small meal." The announcement of Soylent Bridge also follows a recent series of product adjustments that Soylent has taken to augment its line for mass appeal.
