Gbenga AdenijiPresidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu, has said the endorsement of his candidacy for next Saturday’s presidential election by Prof. Wole Soyinka’s Citizen Forum has provided a new direction for Nigeria. Reacting to the endorsement on Saturday in a statement, Moghalu described the development as humbling. Wole Soyinka’s resounding endorsement of my candidacy as the next President of Nigeria is quite humbling for me. This is especially so because of who he is in our country and the world, and the very elaborate process he went through with the Citizen Forum before reaching this decision. Our party– the Young Progressives Party – and I, salute the courage and the good judgment of the Nobel laureate and icon of democratic struggle in Nigeria.
