Riverton trainers Kelvin and Aimee Tyler have stabled He's Got Power at Pukekohe all week preparing for the Karaka Million 3-Year-Old Classic. One of his rivals, Harlech, is part-owned in a Matamata stable by Riverton couple Roddy and Jenny Paddon. Invercargill courier driver Graham Jones shares in the ownership of Cool Aza Beel who is also trained at Matamata but lines up in the Karaka Million 2-Year-Old.
