Invercargill has added yet another national motorsport event to the 2021 calendar. X Factor Cars Riverside Speedway has confirmed it will host the National Saloon Car Championships on January 29 and 30. The club has set the bar high with an aim for the 2021 National Saloon Car Championships to be the best ever. The addition of the National Saloon Car Championships adds to what is already a busy time of the year for motorsport in Southland. Graham Williamson agreed that bringing the National Saloon Car Championship was another strong addition to an already booming southern motorsport stronghold.
