Kavinda Herath/Stuff Invercargill Mayor Tim Shadbolt and Invercargill City Council parks manager Robin Pagan cut the cake at the 50 year anniversary for the Queens Park Tea Kiosk, now named Cheeky Llama. Queens Park land is owned by the Invercargill City Council, but the cafe is leased. With the Tea Kiosk having been built in 1968, Parks Week was a good opportunity to align the two events, she said.
