CARSON, California (AP) " Seattle won at Los Angeles for the first time in 12 attempts, beating the Galaxy 4-2 on Sunday to boost the Sounders' playoff chances while denting L.A.'s hopes of topping Major League Soccer's Western Conference. The Sounders won their first game at Los Angeles since 2009 to move within three points of the last playoff berth in the Western Conference with three games left in the regular season. Los Angeles (11-5-15) lost its first home game of the season and its first against the Sounders since 2009. In the day's other game, Ola Kamara scored both goals as Columbus beat New England 2-0 to keep its playoff hopes alive. In the 42nd minute, Kamara slid a shot through the legs of a defender and past the diving goalkeeper.
