A man has serious injuries following a stabbing in Lower Hutt on Monday night. Police confirmed a man had been stabbed in a Housing New Zealand complex in the suburb of Naenae in what appeared to be a fight between two people. Police believed the offender was known to the man and there was no risk to the public. Police do not believe the stabbing is linked to a vicious attack in the same suburb on Saturday, when a man was critically injured after he was stabbed six times.
