People will be able to scan through the list of available doctors and make appointments. Come November, patients will be able to skip long queues to see a doctor at New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC)-run hospitals. In a bid to make Lutyen's Delhi a smart city, the civic body has taken up the initiative to bring all hospitals and dispensaries under one e-portal by mid-November. The civic body will also connect the portal to its mobile application—'NDMC 311', which will allow patients direct access to the portal. Through the portal, the civic body is also looking at having data ready to ascertain which diseases are more prevalent and the demand for which medicines is the highest.
