Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko will in less than a week be required to appear before DCI to record statements. This is after DCI Chief George Kinoti this evening issued summons to the ex-governor directing him to appear at the DCI headquarters, Kiambu Road. Sonko has been directed to appear in person at the head of the Serious Crimes Unit next Monday at 8 am. The summons by the DCI head of Serious Crime Unit Kuria Obadia come a day after Kibicho recorded his statement with the DCI. Sonko has also claimed that there were plans to kill him (Sonko) as wells as the DP.
