“The locals had gone to a tea shop near a hospital in Moti Bagh where they saw Santosh sleeping on the footpath. The police said after setting the house on fire, Santosh had fled from the spot. By then, the fire had spread all over the house and they got stuck inside the house. On May 11, a massive fire broke out in the small hours at the ground floor residence of the elderly couple at Sudarshan Park. The elderly couple was taken to the nearby hospital where they were declared dead on arrival.
