Soldiers foil attacks, intercept terrorist logistics in North East

Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have foiled multiple terrorist attacks, arrested suspects and intercepted large consignments of logistics linked to insurgents during operations across the North East between March 28 and 30, 2026. The media officer of Joint Task Force (North East), Sani Uba, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, noting that the operations targeted terrorist enclaves and supply networks across Borno State and adjoining areas. The statement said troops deployed in Damboa thwarted a planned attack by Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters after detecting their movement through surveillance. On logistics operations, the task force said troops intercepted vehicles conveying large quantities of supplies suspected to be meant for insurgents. The statement further disclosed that troops, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force, arrested multiple logistics suppliers and collaborators.
