GOVERNMENT lawyers are set to ask the Supreme Court (SC) to revoke the legislative franchise of ABS-CBN media network. According to unimpeachable sources of The Manila Times, the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) will file the case before the high court. Solicitor General (SolGen) Jose Calida is expected to lead his team in the filing of the petition. “There were several violations filed by ABS-CBN in their legislative franchise. Another Manila Times source said the solicitor general and the assistant solicitor general have already signed the draft petition of the OSG.
