Met Office forecasters said this was also the lowest March temperature seen in the UK since 2010, when minus 18.6C was recorded at Braemar in Aberdeenshire. (PA Graphics)The coldest March night on record was minus 22.8C at Logie Coldstone in Aberdeenshire on March 14, 1958.
