Snowfall warnings end for areas of southern Alberta

Environment Canada has ended a snowfall warning that would have affected multiple regions in southern Alberta. Earlier in the day, the federal agency said parts of southern Alberta could be blanketed with up to 40 centimetres of snow by evening. That warning was ended shortly before 4 p.m. Sunday. The warnings were issued on Sunday morning for Kananaskis and Canmore to the west of Calgary and for Okotoks, High River and Claresholm. The federal agency also issued a snowfall warning for the areas of Crowsnest Pass, Pincher Creek and Waterton Lakes National Park.
