Keeping with Sheraton’s focus on offering the best of local experiences and welcoming the community into its fold, we were taken for a day trip to the foothills of Nandi Hills, a little over an hour’s drive away. As the road curves and bends into the rustic landscape out of the city, one can have a field day with their camera. Once there, we were taken to the quaint Discovery Village, an eco-responsible green resort, where a set of bicycles awaited those who could ride them. The Nandi railway station Anannya SarkarThe Nandi railway station was built in the British era and is still functional. Fun fact: This unit is mostly run by women with the matriarch giving way to her daughter-in-law Akhlima in this fourth-generation family business.
