Fire and Emergency New Zealand New Plymouth crews were called to Parklands Ave, Bell Block, around 11pm. Senior station officer Jason Crowe said power lines had come down around a property, as well as a garage roof lifted. “They suspect that it may have been a small tornado,” Crowe said.
