State Highway 54 has been closed at the bottom of Vinegar Hill after a slip overnight (file photo). A state highway in Rangitīkei has been closed following a slip overnight. State Highway 54 near Vinegar Hill was closed between Lower Pakihikura Rd and SH1 after slips fell on the road just after 11pm on Tuesday. The New Zealand Transport Agency urged motorists to delay travel or find an alternative route.
