Skipton makes the 'best places' shortlist of 8 locations in Yorkshire and the North East along with Leeds, Saltaire, Boston Spa, the Yorkshire Wolds, Heaton (Newcastle), Nether Edge (Sheffield) and Whitley Bay (Tyne & Wear).
