Theophilus Onojeghen, WarriNo fewer than six persons have been reportedly killed in a renewed violence in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State. It was learnt that six persons were killed at different spots in the area bringing the total number of those killed in the renewed crisis to 10. Spokesman for the police in the state, Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed the incident but said five persons were killed in Monday’s clash. He also denied security officials were involved in the killings. There’s no iota of truth in the allegation that security officials were involved in killing people.
