Wales are confident that Dan Biggar will be fit to face England on Saturday in Cardiff. The fly half, 29, limped off after 20 minutes of Northampton Saints’ win over Sale Sharks last Saturday with a knee injury but he trained with Wales yesterday and is expected to do so again today as he battles with Gareth Anscombe, 27, for the No 10 jersey. “This morning [Biggar] has come in, he will have some physio and he will be able to take part in training, which is a huge positive for us,” Rob Howley, the Wales assistant coach, said. Leigh Halfpenny is back with the Wales squad, though the full back, 30, is unlikely to feature having not played since being concussed in November.
