Sisters Latoya Tremane and Chloe Gibson Invercargill-based children’s heuristic toy business Navy Baby has been voted by the public as a finalist in the national 2020 OhBaby awards. It started with a simple conversation between Southland sisters Latoya Tremane and Chloe Gibson close to five years ago. The awards recognise New Zealand’s best baby toys with the Navy Baby named a finalist in three categories; best newborn toy, best baby toy, and best educational toy. It’s pretty big in the scheme of things for a small Southland business,’’ Latoya said.
