Records of BECE performance from 2013 to 2016 has revealed a drastic decline with percentage figures providing 19.10% for 2016 with 1,077 candidates which is the worst in the last few years. He stated" that the strategies should start from Kindergarten levels till good seeds are produced to write the BECE". He however, calls for "attitudinal change of teachers, parents and schools children themselves including all stakeholders in education to put up efforts to improve the situation". Meanwhile, several interventions were put in place to improve the performance of BECE candidates yet there seems not to be any yielding results. The poor BECE performance has then become a blame on all stakeholders who in either way contributes or seems reluctant about addressing the issue.
